Living with cystic fibrosis

Living with cystic fibrosis (Vivre) is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life of individuals living with cystic fibrosis (CF) and providing support to their caregivers and families.

Together, living better with CF in Quebec.

Our mission is to improve the quality of life of people living with cystic fibrosis, including families and immediate family members.

Concretely improve the quality of life of people living with cystic fibrosis (CF) in Quebec by strengthening the community, by offering relevant information and by building solid partnerships.

Respect : Placing people at the heart of our mission, taking into account the relationships with others for the sake of inclusion, dignity and consideration. Offer everyone the opportunity to express their full potential while considering the specificities of each person.

Justice : Promote, defend and enable equal opportunities, whether in terms of health (access to quality care, regardless of social, economic or demographic status), employment, access to housing, or any other field, avoiding any form of discrimination based on stereotypes.

Mutual aid : Promote values such as collaboration and teamwork to offer spontaneous, positive and caring support to each member of our community. Ensure personal or collective well-being, and promote the development of each person through effective collaborative practices coupled with a keen sense of altruism.

Integrity : Focusing on consistency, transparency, authenticity and honesty in our commitments and responsibilities to our community, as well as in all areas of our activities, in order to create a strong and lasting relationship with all our stakeholders.

Inclusion: Promote openness, welcome and respect for all people living with cystic fibrosis and their loved ones, taking into account their diversity and backgrounds, in order to build an inclusive community that is representative of all its voices.

40 years of solidarity, listening, and action.

A journey guided by people, supported by the community and focused on the future.
