Living with cystic fibrosis offers community-based services designed by and for people living with cystic fibrosis and their loved ones, supporting them in their daily lives through financial assistance, guidance, information, and tailored wellness programs.
Living with cystic fibrosis (Vivre) is a unique non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals living with cystic fibrosis (CF) and providing support to their caregivers and families.
For over 40 years, Vivre has been a cornerstone of the CF community across Quebec, offering local services, guidance, and reliable information. Over this time, it has grown into a trusted leader in promoting well-being and supporting the unique needs of individuals living with CF.
Through advocacy, education, and practical support, the grassroots organization empowers its members to manage the challenges of CF while fostering resilience, independence, and community connection.

Thrive - Living Well Magazine
Thrive - Living Well Magazine was previously published twice a year. It featured popular science articles, testimonies, portraits, interviews, and stories. In 2021, the organization adopted an environmental policy and the magazine is now distributed entirely in a digital format.
Awareness-Raising Campaigns on Social Media
Living with cystic fibrosis is active on the main social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and Tik Tok).
Every opportunity to raise awareness and share the daily realities of people with CF is taken up by the communications team.

Help, Active Listening and Community Support
There is no one who understands your reality better than someone who has already been “there.” This is why Vivre offers active listening and support to all its members. Whether it is to answer a question, request information related to cystic fibrosis or communicate with someone who understands, a support service is offered on an ongoing basis. It is possible to reach us during regular working hours on weekdays.
Christmas stockings campaign
Every year during the holiday season, Vivre distributes Christmas and food baskets to families accross Quebec. The campaign is organized in collaboration with specialized CF clinics in Quebec.

Newborn Toolkit Care Package
Created between 2014 and 2016 by the Tousse Ensemble support network, the toolkit designed to help parents receiving a new diagnosis by providing a digital toolbox of information. In 2026, Vivre is collaborating with CF Canada to distribute a toolkit package throught the CF clinics in Quebec.
