Financial Help Funds

We offer financial assistance to meet a variety of specific needs for people with CF that are not offered in the public system.

Here are the different financial help funds available to improve the quality of life of people with cystic fibrosis and their families in Quebec. To make a request, you must be a member. Help us better understand your request by completing the form at the bottom of the page and selecting the program in which you are interested in. Our team will be happy to respond to you as soon as possible!

Note that, to benefit from them, you must respect the eligibility criteria written in our help fund policy.
According to our privacy and protection policy for personal and sensitive information, the medical and/or financial information you choose to provide to us will in no way be disclosed to third parties except personnel who are directly involved and trained in the provision of these services. Thank you for your understanding.

Training and wellness help fund

Formerly called the Personal Development Fund, this fund is intended for members who wish to provide themselves with training, studies, courses or personal care for their well-being. Personal care must be prescribed and not reimbursable by insurance (e.g., massage therapy, acupuncture, occupational therapy, etc.).

Food Security Help Fund

The COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund is getting a makeover as a result of the impact of the pandemic and inflation on our community. This fund aims to help members with food security by making sure they have the financial resources to eat better during challenging times.

Medical Transport Help Fund

The Medical Transport Help Fund aims to help members reduce the costs associated with frequent medical appointments at cystic fibrosis clinics and regional trips.

Medical Equipment Help Fund

The Medical Equipment Help Fund allows you to reimburse part of the costs associated with the purchase of medical equipment (associated with cystic fibrosis and/or diabetes related to cystic fibrosis). Ineligible material must not be reimbursed by the Quebec Health Insurance Board (RAMQ) or by private insurance. You can use the same form to request an air conditioner during the heatwave periods!

Emergency Help Fund

This program aims to meet urgent and essential needs that do not correspond to other categories.
