THRIVING with cystic fibrosis
The THRIVE program, developed by Living with cystic fibrosis, is designed to encourage people with cystic fibrosis and those around them to adopt healthy lifestyles adapted to their condition. This program includes:
- Home training course : Simple and adapted exercises designed by kinesiologists, to do at home, allowing you to stay active safely.
- Online educational webinars : Interactive sessions led by experts to inform, inspire, and offer practical advice on health and wellness topics.
- Mental Health Wellness Capsules : Two thematic videos to promote relaxation and relaxation to calm the body and mind.
- Campaigns to promote healthy lifestyles : Short and engaging videos to raise awareness and motivate people to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
THRIVE is accessible to everyone and aims to support the cystic fibrosis community by offering practical tools and free resources to improve their daily lives.
Home workout program
Regular physical activity has numerous benefits for both mental and physical health. Many people with cystic fibrosis prefer to exercise at home rather than in a gym, due to convenience, hygiene concerns, and a more comfortable environment that will allow them to avoid the glances of others.

Educational webinars
As part of the program Live better, Living with cystic fibrosis offers a series of free online webinars focused on promoting healthy lifestyles for people living with cystic fibrosis and their loved ones. Each session is led by experts and covers a variety of topics, ranging from pain management to the importance of the pharmacist's role in monitoring cystic fibrosis.
Examples of topics covered:
- The pharmacist: your ally in CF — A presentation on the support that pharmacists can provide in the management of treatments.
- Calming the mind through meditation — A discussion on the benefits of meditation and a presentation of breathing techniques to calm the mind and relax the body.
These webinars take place online, on Zoom, to make it easy for everyone to attend.
