Cystic fibrosis is the most common fatal genetic disease among young people in Canada. The funds raised make it possible to finance:

About the event

Living with cystic fibrosis is proud to confirm the performance of its Third golf tournament The Next Monday, June 22 on the magnificent grounds of Montreal Country Club, in Saint-Lambert. We are happy to count on the renewed support of Béton Hébert Inc. as a major partner in order to realize this memorable event.

The tournament is a perfect opportunity for golf fans and enthusiasts to enjoy an extraordinary experience on a refined and elegant course, while supporting cystic fibrosis (CF).

Tournament Details

Located in the heart of Saint-Lambert, the Montreal Country Club offers an exceptional environment where history and elegance mingle. Founded in 1910, it is one of the oldest golf clubs in Greater Montreal, occupying a site formerly dedicated to polo before becoming a private 18-hole golf course. Redesigned in 1974 by the renowned architect Roy Dye, the course now offers a challenge of 6,725 yards, by 72, with a course rating of 72.8 And a Slope of 135, all on mature land with tree-lined alleys.

An iconic place associated with the history of Quebec golf — especially renowned for being one of the places of origin of the famous” Mulligan ” — the club combines tradition and modernity in a refined setting close to the city center. Visitors find a peaceful atmosphere as well as quality facilities, ideal for fully enjoying a day of golf in a green and carefully maintained setting.

Cystic Fibrosis (CF)

Cystic fibrosis (CF) is the most common rare disease in Canada. She accompanies patients from birth to death. It is a degenerative, incurable and fatal disease. A child with CF still has only a 50% chance of living to 54 years of age. 34% of the CF community is made up of young people aged 0 to 25 who are particularly vulnerable.

About Living with cystic fibrosis

Our mission is to promote the improvement of the living conditions of people aged 16 and over living with the disease as well as their immediate surroundings. Because CF isn't just about problems perceptible physics, like the lung and digestive problems, we also work on social issues such as financial precariousness, the mental health, theIsolation social, the Poverty, the inclusion and integration of FK members into society.

Your contribution to our event will serve to ensure the maintenance of our assistance programs and our local services in order to continue to carry out our mission for over 40 years. Thanks to funds raised during the 2025 Golf Tournament, Living with cystic fibrosis carried out the following actions:

  • Local support for its members;
  • Access to essential medicines and treatments not covered by public and private insurance plans;
  • Improvement of living conditions through five financial aid funds ;
  • Meetings and exchanges between peers for Breaking the isolation
  • Psychosocial support with adults with CF and caregivers
  • Distribution of Christmas stockings in December in order to share joy and happiness with families in need.

A year marked by presence, proximity and human anchoring

  • All the actions carried out this year demonstrate the capital importance of a Quebec organization capable of offering both listening, emotional support, reliable information, financial assistance, personalized support and maintaining human relationships.
  • The organism thus asserts itself as a a key player in well-being of people living with cystic fibrosis and their families, by being present at every stage — from moments of vulnerability to administrative procedures, through community mobilization and building bridges between members.

Jordan Medeiros is an entrepreneur in the field of marketing. He founded the Founders agency four years ago, with the mission of helping businesses reach their full potential through high-quality visuals. Suffering from cystic fibrosis since birth, this cause is particularly close to his heart. Through his involvement, he wishes to contribute concretely to making a difference and to supporting research and awareness-raising.

Jean-François, has been working in the financial field for over 30 years as Vice President. He has also been involved in several committees and boards of directors for charitable causes. He is the organizing president and instigator of the Living with Cystic Fibrosis golf tournament.
