HORSE-RIDING

Q: Is it true that horseback riding involves risks for people with cystic fibrosis? What are they?

R : Horseback riding does not pose a particular risk for people with cystic fibrosis.
It can even be beneficial since it requires a certain amount of cardiovascular effort. It is different if a person is allergic to horses. In such a case, it is best to refrain from doing
horseback riding. It is also possible to come into contact with certain microbes in a stable. It is therefore always important to reduce the risk of infection by adopting good hygiene.
