The last few years have been tumultuous not only for our cystic fibrocystic community, but also globally. Pandemic, upheavals, changes, uncertainty, fear, anxiety...
Needless to say how deeply each of our lives has been affected and changed.
Through this great ordeal, the ability to adapt, the resilience and the mutual support shown by our community is undeniably what we can learn from it. A strong, proud, valiant and united community against all odds: this pandemic that brings us back to the essentials, it is our unity that comes out even stronger.
It therefore goes without saying that, in this edition of Vivre Express created by our super team confined to remote working, it is OUR magnificent community that we wanted to highlight! It is through our “organization” section that we present our new director general, Josée Côté, who has already become “one of us” and who reinforces Sarah Gagné and Sébastien Puli already in office. In addition, we also present our various regional representatives and volunteers who sit on our board of directors. We are proud of this team of employees and volunteers who carry the mission of the organization at arm's length to always better support you and accompany you on your journey.
We also highlight our members more widely through articles on our famous fibrocystic fibrosis, and on members of our overseas community who have gone through Covid-19. You will also find a place where we share our favorite recipes with you, and not to mention our young future with the “teens” section that has become so popular with our loyal readers.
In short, this version of Vivre Express, which was designed in this particular current context, reflects fragility, humility in the face of life and hope, especially through our article on Trikafka but above all, how united and inclusive we are and how we will come out of this great global event stronger and stronger.
